How can I extend the life of the battery in the phone nokia lumia


  • Running several features of the Nokia Lumia to increase the battery power consumption, which reduces the lifetime. To save battery power, note the following:

  1. Turn on battery power saving feature. Select Settings> save battery power. Note that when you run the battery power saving feature, your phone will not be able wearer of: receiving e-mail and calendar updates automatically, and update some of the Live Tile icons and allow applications to run in the background.
  2. To terminate an application or a game when you are finished using them, please use the key "Back" as this will close the application, rather than keep it active in the background.
  3. Set the screen to be turned off after 30 seconds. From the start screen, drag the left, and select Settings> lock + background (lock screen)> lock screen timeout.
  4. Lower the screen brightness. Select Settings> Brightness> level. Disable the automatic feature first. Where the brightness level also affects the function of auto-tuning.
  5. Network connections used selectively. For example, if the signal strength of the mobile phone network varies greatly in your area, your phone searches for the available network repeatedly. This will lead to increased consumption of battery power. If a connection is running in 3G mobile phone network settings, your phone searches for the 3G network. To turn off the 3G connection, select Settings> Mobile Network, and then deactivate the 3G connection.
  6. Turn on the Bluetooth connection only when you need it. Select Settings> Bluetooth.
  7. Then use the Wi-Fi connection to connect to the Internet instead of mobile data connection (GPRS or 3G). And turn your phone search for Wi-Fi networks available if these networks were not available. Select Settings> Wi-Fi> shutdown.
  8. When you're taking a picture, press the key back out of the camera's viewfinder.
  9. Reduce the frequency of synchronization to your e-mail. Select Settings> email + accounts> e-mail> download new content.
  10. Turn off location services in case you do not need them - so the phone will not search for your site frequently in the background. Select Settings> Location> shutdown.
  11. Disable unnecessary background applications. Especially for users of phones Lumia 810, 820, 822 and 920, please make sure ban (designation "shutdown") demo version of the application, "the leadership of Nokia +" applications in the background.Drag the left, from the start-up screen, and then choose a setting Tumen settings, drag left to the applications tab> applications in the background.
  12. Use wired headphones, rather than the loudspeaker.
  13. Turn off the sounds and unwanted jobs, such as vibration. Select Settings> ringtones + sounds.
  14. Turn off the "Connect to Xbox LIVE" when it is not needed. Select Xbox LIVE> Settings> Connect to Xbox LIVE.
  15. Make sure your battery is fully charged. See Settings> save battery power> battery information. Note that you may not be able chargers old battery is fully charged.

Note 1: It is recommended using the original charger in the sales package to charge the phone battery.



Note 2: Make sure your phone is running the latest software for battery-related improvements. Please also check out the update existing applications on your latest updates.





If battery power is consumed faster even if there were no features or applications active, you try to turn on the power shutdown, and then restart the power. It is also possible that the battery had been consumed and need to be replaced with new ones.
